The Bells (6) 11-2-0

Access to ringing chamber: Entrance outside the tower. Access by means of 28 open stone spiral steps.

The back five are by John Taylor of Oxford (before they moved to Loughborough) in 1835. The treble is one hundred years old (1905) and that’s the last time any major work was done on them.
The inscription on the treble comes from the North Bucks web site Dec 2003, while the inscriptions on the old five are from A.H.Cocks The Church Bells of Buckinghamshire, page 335.
The rest of the information comes from Chris Pickford.
Frame: wooden.
Gear: steel joist headstocks, plain bearings, Bowell 1905.

A ring of 6; tenor 10-1-24, diameter 39”, tuned to G#.
