Points of interest in church ?
Church facilities: The church is open daily from 8am to 7 pm, and there is a good choice of guides and postcards. There is a toilet (no disabled access) in the vestry on the north side of the churchyard, which can be left unlocked by arrangement.
Travel Details: OS Grid Ref: SP527034
Private car: (a) From the city centre, take the Iffley Road from the Plain, until you pass the right turn to the Donnington Bridge. Shortly afterwards Oxford Motors is on your right, turn right into Iffley Turn. Continue on over the mini roundabout and on to the end of Church Way. There is usually sufficient roadside parking: if the end of Church Way is congested, turn up into Abberbury Road. Be aware, however, that vandalism and theft are prevalent near the church: lock up and leave nothing attractive visible. If touring by car and going on into central Oxford, you will find it best to leave the car at or near Iffley Turn and go on into the city by bus along the Iffley Road.

(b) From the eastern side of the Oxford Ring Road, A4142, turn in towards the city centre along the Iffley Road, A4158. This turn is about halfway between the Cowley flyover, (near the Tesco supermarket) and the Henley Road roundabout (near Sainsbury's). Look for a set of traffic lights about half way down Rose Hill with a T junction on the right. Go straight over that junction and take the next left into Iffley Turn.

(c) Those arriving by boat may moor in the pool above the lock by arrangement with the lockkeeper or there is 24-hour public mooring alongside the towpath by the Isis Tavern.

  Public Transport:See the OUSCR page.
There are frequent buses from Oxford city centre to Rose Hill run by Stagecoach (no. 3) or the Oxford Bus Co. (no. 4). In both cases alight at Iffley Turn and walk along Church Way for 10 - 15 minutes.
Eating Places: The Prince of Wales (01865-778543; bar food) and The Tree Hotel (01865-775974; bar food and Thai restaurant) are 4 and 6 minutes’ walk back along Church Way respectively. In fine weather, there is a pleasant walk down to Iffley Lock, where by crossing over and turning upstream you reach the Isis Tavern (01865-247006; food and a beer garden) adjoining the towpath. Large parties might consider hiring the parish hall, which seats up to 100 and has a fully equipped kitchen and toilets with disabled access. Booking Secretary Elizabeth Wells 01865-777674 or e.mp.wells@talk21.com
