Local points of interest for non ringers: Bradfield College adjacent to the church, was built in Victorian times on the site of the former manor house known as Bradfield Place. The Dining Hall has some stained glass widows designed by Burne Jones at the age of 24. In 1890 the headmaster, H.B.Gray, supervised the construction in a nearby chalk pit of a Greek theatre modelled on that of Epidaurus in the Morea.
