The Branch exists to provide services and support to its members, and the officers are elected to run run it. At each AGM, the officers report what they have done during the year, and may seek approval for new plans.
Three months before the AGM, there is a smaller meeting between the officers and one person from each tower where things are discussed less informally, in greater depth. New ideas can be considered, and we can work out what seems likely to be the best way forward. If necessary we can ask the officers to do further work on an idea before bringing it to the AGM, or just getting on with it.
It's called the Branch Committee meeting, but the name is a bit misleading because someone from every tower can attend. It doesn’t have to be the tower captain, it can be any of you.
The officers would welcome your views on how to ensure that you are all represented at this meeting, so we can make decisions that benefit all Branch members. We would appreciate a few minutes of your time to answer these questions.
