Casting Reported
The Abingdon Herald on Thursday 5th January 2006 on page 19 had a
report, including a dramatic picture, of the casting at the Whitechapel
foundry of the new bells for St Helen's.
Lottery Funding Reported
The grant from the Awards for All lottery fund for sound control was
reported
in the Abingdon Herald and Oxford Mail on Friday 11th November 2005.

The Bells Appeal featured prominently in the Oxford Mail
daily evening newspaper on Saturday 4th December.
The report
included a large picture of Abingdon ringer Helen Beaumont amongst the
bells on the old frame.
