Peals and Quarters rung for the Guild

The guild rules contain various provisions regarding peals rung for the guild. The rules are the definitive reference, but the key points are that:

  • The peal must comply with the decisions of the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers regarding peals.
  • All participants must be members of the Guild or provisionally elected.
  • The conductor of the peal shall submit within one month of the peal being rung to the peal secretary details of the peal including participants and the composition (for seven or more bells), details of provisionally elected members and the appropriate peal fee (currently 50 pence).
