I wish to nominate Keith Mitchell for the Claire Tarrant Award.
Keith has been an active member of the Chipping Norton branch for over 30 years and throughout that time has supported many ringers with advice and guidance, both beginners and those learning a new method, in a friendly and mild manner. He has also served the Branch as Deputy Ringing Master and, I believe as Ringing master, at times in the past. Keith has supported bell restorations in the branch, including the projects at Chadlington, Taynton and Shipton, with practical help. Since the commencement of ringing at Shipton after the Covid restrictions Keith has been a welcomed and valuable attendee offering advice and enabling advancement of our ringing ability.
