AGM 2024

Dear ODG Members,
You are cordially invited to the Oxford Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers AGM, on Saturday 18th May 2024 at 2pm. The venue for the AGM is St Andrew’s Church Hall Stoke Poges, Rogers Lane, SL2 4LN. A map is attached.

Open towers:
10.45 – 11.30 Penn (6) HP10 8NY
11.30 – 12.30 Beaconsfield (8) HP9 1ND

St Andrew’s church hall will be open from 12.00 noon.

There is a car park at St Andrew’s but there will be parents collecting children from an activity in
another hall up to 1.00 pm so please ensure that you park in the marked spaces and do not
block anyone in, and please watch out for young children in the car park. Roadside parking is
also available in Rogers Lane or use one of the other village parking areas.

Lunch of quiche and salad will be available from 12.30 for those who pre-book (price £5 payable
by cash on the day). Please contact <mailto:secretary@ebsb.odg.org.uk>
secretary@ebsb.odg.org.uk by Wednesday 15th May to book lunch (no name, no food!). We
regret that we cannot cater for allergies. There is a Co-op and a pub nearby.

Tea, coffee, and cake available before the meeting – no need to pre-book,
donations invited.

Service at St Andrew’s Church 3.30 pm
Open ringing at St Giles Stoke Poges (SL2 4NZ) after the service up to 5.30 pm.

You will note that there are some opportunities to take up a guild post, due to individuals choosing to stand down or the splitting of posts to enable sharing of workload and reducing the time commitment. The posts are Meetings Secretary, Public Relations Officer, Assistant Website Manager, Assistant Server Manager, 4 posts to be a General Committee member, Newsletter Editor and Membership Secretary.
